In recent years we were often approached with the question whether the transport of wood pellets with our conveyors is possible. We had already made tests for manufacturers of wood pellets, so we knew that our systems work properly. Our conveyors are built to be used in an idustrial environment where throughputs of several cubic meters per hour are required. To ensure such a performance even in multi-shift operation, 365 days per year, we only use high quality raw materials. Our gearmotors for example are equipped with high performance gears which are used in crane construction. This high standard made our conveyors economically unappealing for the use in private homes.

By working on a specific project we had the opportunity to develop a simplified version of our spiral conveyor, which we are now able to offer for the transport of wood pellets. The use of cheaper materials, for example for the feeding tubes, lets us reduce the price for the units to an extent that makes it reasonable for domestic use. The conveying path from pellet bunker to burner can, due to the flexible tubes, now be handled with a single conveyor.

Please note:
This conveyor is specifically designed for the transport of wood pellets. The feeding tubes are neither food-safe nor highly resistant to abrasion. The tubes will have a lifetime of several years in the area of pellet transport. Any industrial use is not advisable.

This type of feeder is not comparable with our industrial equipment from the PS, PC or PM series. We decline any warranty when using a PH type conveyor for charging a processing machine.
